About Renee

Life can feel overwhelming sometimes. The opportunity to be listened to and understood for who we truly are may not be something we experience in our daily lives. To have the space and guidance to explore our emotions and internal world plays an important part in our growth and development. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, primarily in a medical setting. I completed both a Master’s in Social Work and a post-graduate certificate from the Institute of Advanced Psychotherapy at Loyola University Chicago. I changed career paths from business to social work, because I wanted to help others by connecting with them one to one. My foundation is in psychodynamic therapy, with elements of cognitive behavioral therapy. I look forward to meeting each new client with hope for what we can accomplish together to make positive changes.
